Te Akonga has been our home away from home for our little man. The teachers and management staff are caring, kind, empathetic and have a huge range of knowledge and skills to care for every little person who comes into their care! We will miss our little center dearly. If you haven't checked them out make them your first stop!!!
Te Akonga is such an amazing preschool. The teachers are incredibly loving towards the children & there is a real sense of whanau & belonging within the centre. They are so well resourced & it is beautiful to see the teachers getting down the children's level to engage in play with them. They are trained in dealing with children with additional needs & do so with loving compassion. I have had 2 children go through Te Akonga & would highly recommend them.
We have two grandchildren attending part time. We call it Kura at home and the excitement I see in both of them when we mention the word kura, it is also a testament to this Day Care that our mokos absolutely love attending. They are beautiful people and support us with the learning for our autistic moko
As the manager of the centre, I am most proud of our amazing team of people. From our governance board to our teachers and administration staff, Te Akonga is privileged to have such beautiful people caring for our children. I highly recommend Te Akonga for all children including those who have additional needs. We love them all
Amazing and loving preschool! The staff are just wonderful and treat my babies with such love and respect. Would highly recommend this pre-school to anyone! Thanks Te Akonga!
