The islands and council owned land is a disgrace hardly ever mowed the dept who deal with this is very unhelpful the council want a museum we need a museum like a fish needs a bicycle get the infrastructure updated build more houses and start looking out for the citizens. I'm disgusted with this council and putting up the rates so much is disgusting

You've got bayfair, fraiser cove the lakes etc all close by. They have everything you need and free parking. I just went in to tauranga city. Got a park outside the door of a shop. I'd seen the item I wanted online. Went in, grabbed it and paid for it all within about 2 mins. Came out and I was getting a parking ticket. Great way to encourage local business you bloody muppets. I won't bother shopping in Tauranga city again.

You spend millions of dollars to make art on the side of the road, and to fix up stuff that doesn't need fixing. Yet there is over 50 homeless families without a place to stay living in Tauranga! Other than that I don't have an issue.
