Dined on a Saturday night with my wife and another couple.nThe dining area is light and open with a nice outdoor dining area.nWe were greeted by a friendly and professional waitress who guided us through the menu and took our drink orders.nI had the grilled seafood plate which consisted of a barramundi fillet, scallops, prawns, calamari, mussels and salad, all very tasty and cooked to perfection.nMy wife had lamb shanks which she also found delicious.nStaff are attentive and friendly, service is terrific, meals are delicious and good value.nWe will be returning at the first opportunity.
I had the grilled seafood plate and it was delicious, unfortunately my pic didn't work .nAll staff were great. Sat outside which was nice. The flies are friendly but that's part of being outside with food.nWe will be going back.
Update: Just to let the owner know that this isn’t a fake spam review as replied.nnNot Coeliac Gluten-Free Friendly and absolutely rude new owner.nnJust a heads-up, this isn't a complaint about the entire pub, just a note about the manager. Shout out to the kitchen and waiter service, they were fantastic!nnI typically don't leave reviews, but tonight's experience was very unpleasant. The manager was so rude and arrogant towards my partner that she was in tears by the time we got in the car on the way home.nnThe manager's actions not only displayed a lack of understanding but also caused my partner significant confusion and embarrassment.nnMy partner, who is a Coeliac, asked the waitress about menu options. The waitress went to the kitchen and returned with a helpful list. However, when the food arrived, the person delivering it assuming this was the owner questioned my partner about being gluten-free and made a fuss about the gravy not being gluten-free. Despite the waitress pre-checking with the kitchen, he insisted the gravy wasn't gluten-free, causing confusion. He repeatedly asked if she still wanted the meal, even offering to eat it himself if she didn't, and then reached over her shoulder and grabbed the gravy from her plate. It was a really strange and awkward interaction.nnWhen my partner asked for an alternative sauce, he refused, claiming no sauces or gravy were gluten-free. Despite my partner suggesting better communication with the staff, he turned his back and walked away while she was talking to him.nnLater, when I addressed his rudeness,he mentioned that we were out of line by implying he needed to educate his staff about dietary requirements and then he offered to comp the meal, abruptly walked away, and later returned, slamming the money on the table. This happened in front of a group of about 10 people we were dining with.nnAfter this, despite attempts to clear things up, the manager continued to ignore my partner, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for us as locals who wanted a positive experience.nnI hope you have a better experience then we did.
