North East Funerals , I thoroughly would recommend John and his wonderful caring staff to anyone in need of their services . The utmost care , compassion & dignity given to my beautiful wife Bev was 100% The same goes to the staff dealing with myself & my family and when I asked about a motorcycle honour guard that was not a problem . This is the second time in a matter of 3 years where I have asked John and his team to officiate a funeral service when my Son Ben took his life As for Mr. Greenhill's comments the staff were acting on my request and out of respect for my Wife Bev could you rethink your review please ...

We entrusted North East Funerals with the funeral arrangements of our daughter, Kristy Lee Grant and we are pleased we made that decision. North East Funerals was at all times professional, considerate & caring and they ensured that everything went well on the day of the funeral. As an associate of the bereaved I was not impressed with the disrespectful conduct of the staff before, during and after the ceremony. I would not recommend the services of North East Funerals.
due to covid, we had so many family and freinds log onto there stream to watch my mothers funeral and no one could hear a thing. Family rang them during the service and was told "its your service not ours" Then 3 days later when we found out no one could hear it, contacted them and they advised that "we have raised the issue with the church", and "we asked you to speak directly into the microphone" , "the service recording is extremely long" What a cop out. The church does not have microphone issues, they do. its all about buying the right microphone for the streamline. Was $11-$13K not enough for them for 10 people? My mother did not deserve 83 years on this earth for them to stuff it up, even knowing that they had issues at this church before hers. Take some criticism North East Funerals, and Fix the problem so no one else has to go through this. And no one could view the photos after i spent 3 days working on this.
Great experience and service from Mark and the team. Made it very easy and the service was very professional. Locally owned and highly recommended!
Very helpful friendly staff.
