This is a very authentic restaurant with a great variety of dishes. Their service is excellent, and the food is super delicious. In my opinion they have the best chicken biryani I have tried in Sydney.
Had dinner here the other night and it was pretty good. The beef vindaloo and butter chicken were both flavoursome and of good portion size. The beef vindaloo was spicy like we asked which was great and the meat in both curries were tender. The veggie samosa didn't come with any dipping sauces and were a bit undercook. Service was ok, no one was working the floor when we came in so we stood around for a few minutes before being seating in an empty restaurant. Come to think of it, no one was on the floor the whole time we were dining there.
After a late flight we visited this restaurant as near where we were staying. Friendly and attentive service, food was good. Not the best I have had but still good. Quickly restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere.
I think it's fair to say the Cook is absolutely exceptional. The dishes are extremely tasty.Food: 5/5
We have ordered takeaway from this restaurant a few times and always enjoyed it. Last night, unfortunately, we decided to dine in. We stood at the entrance for a while and we’re ignored me by staff. Finally a waitress came and we felt like an inconvenience to her. She pointed to a table and said she would have to come and set it. When we ordered the ‘banquet’ and asked a question, she said she didn’t really know and didn’t offer to find out. After the entrees we decided to get the rest to takeaway and she was very rude saying ‘well the meals have already been put in bowls’. They charged us incorrectly and were rude about sorting it out. We will not be back to dine in and will not be ordering takeaway from here again.
Ordered at 6.45, due to arrive at 7.45pm, still waiting at 9.20pm for the second time in a row....it’s now not dinner time, we've already eaten leftovers . Complete waste of money...
Nice little place for a dinner ... food was okay .. seats were fully occupied when I was at this restaurant...
Food is very good definitely worth it however service could be little quicker and knowledgeable. However decent atmosphere and friendly staff. They get my thumbs upFood: 5/5
The best curry in the Shire! I get from here often and I must say last night was the most delicious I’ve ever had. You can tell it’s authentic and fresh. Always arrives hot and with great service.
My first time ordering from here. Unfortunately my food took nearly 2 hours to arrive It was originally estimated to arrive in 1 hour to 1 hour & 20mins The Restaurant Manager was most unsympathetic that my food appeared to have been in the delivery car for up to 30mins and was happy to lay blame on the delivery driver. Very disappointing...
