I used to rank Taste of Texas in my top 5 in Sydney, but I believe the owners have changed from their original owners. Brisket was dry... atmosphere and service were fantastic. The Apple pie pieces were amazing but a BBQ place with dry brisket is a no no for me...
It is awesome! We will definitely be going back. I forgot to get wings, next time though I'll be getting some. Tonight we had brisket mac and cheese and the Dallas Winds bun and onion rings. Everything was amazing.
The food was great. Small restaurant with interesting details. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be back.
We ordered uber eats from here Jan 2021. Portions were really really small, 3 small dry chickens with celery sticks for 20$ or a can of soda for 8$.... Unless they were cooked in the USA and express flown over, the food is not worth that much. That said, apart from the dry chickens, the food was nice.
Cosy atmosphere, tasty smoked meat and not too easy to come by this style of BBQ in Sydney. I did think the meat was a tad on the dry side and prices were a bit dear for the serving size however enjoyed the large assortment of items! Positive experience.
This place was delicious! Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff, my partner and I enjoyed our experience. The prices were reasonable and the portions were great. Will definitely be revisiting
A restaurant not too conspicuous but once you taste the food you would want to go again and again. Ribs and other meat all cooked to perfection. Had a good time with family.
Pork ribs and bbq sauce were exceptional. Tasted tri tip for the first time and loved it. Wholesome bbq experience.
Ordered takeaway the Stampede, plus extras last night - missing garlic sausage. Unfortunately the food was masked in sauce, all meats were dry on the inside and extremely sub-par to what we've had in the past. So obviously the practices and standards have as well. Disappointing meal with small portions.
