Wonderful family trip out in Hervey Bay! Really lovely staff, informative guide, good food, and so many whales! Lots of viewing areas over two levels, both in shade and in sun, and we never felt crowded which is impressive considering it is school holidays!. Felt like just the right length trip for the family, and the kids were engaged the whole time. Quite a few whales came over to check out the boat and even swam under it. Lots of mums and bubs this time of year September. What a great way to spend a morning!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! The crew was great!!! Very nice, friendly, professional, helpful with every need, and just wonderful!!! Great food&Drinks! Awesome experience to watch the whales up close! Also seeing beautiful parts of K’gri Fraser Island! Kayaking and snorkeling - many fun activities Minibus pick up&drop off at the place I was staying in Hervey Bay! so comfortable! Will definitely recommend this fun day with Tasman Venture!

Brilliant day out with a great crew who did all they could to ensure an enjoyable day was had by all. Activities were well planned and executed. We never felt rushed and felt as though they really wanted to make sure we saw all that we could. Catering was exceptional too - and we have tricky dietary requirements. Highly recommend. We'll be back.

Terrific morning out with Tasman Venture last Saturday. Full boat, on-time departure, great weather. Plenty of passengers including lots of kids running around but there were no safety issues and generally places were available to sit, with space at the rail to watch the action. So many whales! We got it all, distant breaches, fin slapping, heat run, mama and baby, and two whales who mugged us for about an hour, circling the boat endlessly, swimming under and around us, spy hopping, head lunging, rolling, swimming belly-up. Fascinating behaviours and so close up. Brilliant. Plus tea and coffee, and loads of snacks. Great crew, great cruise. Highly highly recommended.

We did the Remote Fraser Island Experience and it was great. The highlight for me was seeing a turtle while snorkelling. The crew are amazing and the tour is fantastic. Highly recommend. We'll be coming back to do a whale tour when whale season comes around.

MUST DO, unforgettable experience! We did a lot of fun stuff like rope rope swinging, kayaking and tubing. We all had the options to choose : The crew makes the day, they really care about us, prepare amazing food & makes the whole day a 5+ star rating Thank you Mel, Lloyd & Tasman Ventures!

Very fortunate to see so many whales up close. The digital booking process and check in on the day was efficient. As with all these tours, patrons rush around the boat trying to get the best photos and crowd at the rails. While it's good to wear closed shoes to protect your feet, they will get wet when the platform on the stern is lowered. Well worth it to get so close to these magnificent creatures.

What an amazing experience this was! The highlight was when we were 'mugged' by two juveniles for 45 minutes. They were so close to the boat. This is by far the best whale watching trip I've been on. The crew were knowledgeable and very helpful. Loved it!

We were booked to do trip on the Wed 14th but weather let us down but Mel got us in for next day, efficient. What an AMAZING day we had, four adults. We snorkel with whales, Turtles. We climbed a huge sand dune, kayak through creek on Fraser Island, for me first time on tube AEWSOME , saw 2 jrn whales who played for us ate a delicious buffet lynch and were totally entertained by staff. They went above and beyond to give information on Fraser Island, Whales. They made sure we were all comfortable, safe. We did a full day tour with whale watching and two stops on Fraser. This company and their wonderful staff are simply fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable as well as supportive and kind. We happened to have great weather and whale sighting on the day we went, but this is a very professional operation they had a lot of options ready if the weather or the snorkelling visibility was bad etc. And that’s what stood out to me and made me realise our great day was down to more than just luck. So in 2022 I highly recommend this company. Thank you to the crew for a great day!
