Possibly one of the worst Targets in Sydney. I have had stand up arguments at checkouts when their stock fails to scan. They then try to tell me the item is not for sale and will argue endlessly to stop the sale. Not even the amazing welcoming lady Bridget can save this very sad store. It's a total waste or retail space. The pay for a bag policy a few years ago spooked everyone, and that damage has never been reversed. This is how not to do retail in Australia. Too often you see the exact same stock as K-Mart yet the price is higher. It's a total joke.

Had a great experience from the retail assistant working in the cosmetic department. I asked if they had a product and they got it from the back for me even though it wasnt on display and the item itself was only $7. 5/5 will shop again.

Unimpressed. I have worked in retail my whole life and have so much respect for retail workers because I understand the stressfulneas of it all. Hornsby target has not impressed me today and has lost my loyalty. Firstly there was no one around to help when needed. I had to go seek out someone from the registers to help direct me. Secondly an item I wanted was hung in the department with a sign attached to it saying buy one get one free. However when I got to the registers they said sorry it doesn't include this item. So I showed them where the item was and all the signs plastered over the department and on the product I wanted but still they refused to honour the stated price. In my store I work at we understand sometimes signage is put out wrong however we honour the price then go change the wrong signage. We don't tell the customer we can't do it because it's not included and the signage is wrong. There's no good outcome that can possibly come out of humiliating the customer in front of everyone. So I leave Hornsby target today upset and without products and with the knowledge of how the store operates. Ive been a loyal customer for over 10 years but will now not return to the store in the future to purchase anything. Not impressed and good luck.

Watch out for the 'young guy' working on weekend mornings at the sound bar, the guys is a smart arse and lacks class and professionalism. Additionally, if a customers asks about anything or a specific item in regards in the store, you don't need to respond in a smart arse or sarcastic tone and be mindful of your words because it makes you look like uneducated fool and lacking in any form of professionalism. No excuses for you, and if you aren't being trained enough them ask management to help you, and there is no shame in that. Always respect your customers.

Bought a $17 pedestal fan that was defective and returned it within 5 days. Although I got a refund, the lady at the counter asked too many questions, in fact I asked her to switch on the fan to see what’s defective, finally she agreed and says “fan is fine but the swing switch is defective “, I don’t give a damn, I see big quality drop in Target Hornsby + customer unfriendly staff.
