Looks neglected. The road down to it is very bad with large deep potholes, so have to drive very slowly. Got to the end, where it was closed off. Just a picnic area there, Couldn't view the lake at all.
Way in along a dirt road beside Tarago River which was lost in the dense forest. Very interesting and worth a look
Poorly maintained park, the grass was a foot high... A sign says stick to the path as there are tiger snakes and other snakes around. YOU CAN'T WALK ON PATH... As a big tree had fallen over the path, the tree must have fallen weeks or months ago... Don't bother going it's a waste of time. I thought you might be able to walk to the water's edge or at least close to water, nope. You are fenced in. Disliked it immensely.
Come for the reservoir, stay for the convenience.nNo direct view or access to the reservoir; but still a lovely and secluded spot to enjoy the sunlight and nature.
It’s a very small reserve with toilets and a BBQ. Given the vast surrounds, it’s very restricted. Some interesting unkempt bush just south of you’re willing to get dirty.
