The perfect place to chill and relax my husband and myself come here on a regular basis, we love it here the atmosphere is down to earth and everyone is friendly. We planned a trip there but due to the slips we can't get there but don't worry we will be back lol. Bruce is awesome just as long as you don't do anything stupid he leaves you alone lol. Try the caravan for the best fish n chips.
Really recommend Tapu Camp a place to relax, fishing and a caravan with a bed, microwave, jug thats all I need. Toilets and a 50 cent shower, big ups Tapu CampRooms: 5/5

Loved our stay. Service was awesome staff were amazing and the camp grounds had a happy atmosphere and best prices. Nothing like being near the ocean to boost and energize my wairua. Will definitely be returning. I would be happy to return by myself even Rooms: 4/5

Bruce runs an old school, good feels camp. Everyone's friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and the facilities are great. The camp shop is basic and has all you need and there's a pub across the road serving cold beer and good pub meals. We'll definitely be back.
Have stayed here 3 times over the years,and every stay has been great. It's perfect for me and my little family to chill away from city life. Am looking at coming back in a few months, having trouble getting on the website to book in though. May have to bother them with a call :Rooms: 5/5
O for awesome $50.00 for 2 adults per night cant go wrong good for low income families showers are 50 cents per 5mins and good pressure dairy just 2 min walk pub across the road they have there own takeaway on site staff are friendly been back a few times highly recommended keep up the good work. O 4 awesome
Awesome place to stay but unfortunately won’t be back. Twice now we have had our gear stolen from outside our cabin. Management had the same answer both times not knowing we were the same people. Very suspect. Will not put up simple signs like lock it or loss it as it is “not a good look” for him. Yes we did take all our valuables from our boats but thief’s always manage to find something! Very disappointing!
