Dumplings 10/10! The black pepper chicken was amazing! The fried chicken was odd, kind of like donut bread chicken with cinnamon which we didn't expect. Not all waitresses speak English and lots of confused orders, but resolved easily
This place is amazing! Would highly recommend. The staff were lovely, the service was quick but the food still fresh. The ribs are to die for and the dumplings are a close second Everything is reasonably priced
We all know we are looking for that 1 restaurant that ticks all of the boxes, this restaurant I gave all 5 stars as it beat any other restaurant in the surrounding areas It were not another restaurant that served their cultural cuisine as slapped up as the others The food presentation were inviting to the ears The flavours of every dish quenched every taste bud in the mouth, the sauces that flavoured the dishes, were not over powering and each bite melted in your mouth as you couldn't wait to try the other dishes ordered wanting that same succulent experience as the 1st The service were wonderful, the woman who served us were polite and read back our order to be sure she had everything correct The food came promptly one dish at a time, that before our eyes we were surprised at the volume of food on each plate The flavours were wonderful The salt & chilli prawns were perfectly cooked, the prawns did not drown in batter like may restaurants do with their battered dishes, these prawns were lightly battered to give a crunch as you bite into it. The batter, salt & chilli, did not over power the main star of the dish, being the prawn The sweet & sour pork dish not being a favourite of mine has changed due to how delicious this meal tasted. The pork were tender inside of the batter shell, again the batter were not thick as other restaurants tend to do with this particular pork dish...this pork dish I will definitely buy again but only from this restaurant The Chinese vegetable dish were fresh with the sauce not overpowering the tower of green which melted in your mouth enhancing your taste buds wanting more The peking duck pancakes, melted in my mouth and made a very satisfying entree as did the very delicious vegetable spring rolls in their crispy batter The other dishes ordered by my friends, I did not get to taste, but according to the compliments they made about their dishes, they were equally satisfied as I were with mine The whole cost of our meal 8 dishes in total incl drinks, some dishes not shown due to being eaten up lol were very affordable and not over priced like many restaurants that serve terrible food, plus the amount of food we received per dish were very very generous!! I encourage you all to try this restaurant out for yourself, I am sure you will be more than satisfied with the service, food quality & flavours! Book to be sure you get a seat
The food here is so good! The Shredded Beef with Peking Sauce is one of their best dishes. The texture is soft, but almost crispy. It's wild. The flavour is powerful though, so get a Chinese broccoli or something without a strong flavour profile to pair with it. The Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings and the Steamed Wonton with Szechuan chilli sauce are also worth trying. If you pay cash you get a 10% discount and they give you a free bowl of prawn chips when you eat in.

Amazing dumplings and other food. The fried eggplant is so tasty and the salt & pepper calamari was to-die-for. Soup dumplings & fried dumplings were also delicious. Do yourself a favour and visit! I forgot to take photos as I was too busy guzzling everything on the table

Had it last week here in early December 2020. Ordered pork dumplings is great taste and juicy. Love it when u can taste gingers flavor in the dumpling stuffing make it tastier. The braised pork belly pot was an awesome ...the pork cuts nicely cubicle rectangle and most importantly is the fats and leans are so balanced the taste or simply put 35% fats perfect for this pork belly dish. And is best to served with rice to eat it together. The little dragon steamed buns....well....not really much to say..just an ok only.
Tasty dumplings and S&P calamari was delicious. Smaller servings and yet now higher in prices.
10/10 for bringing the dumpling joy into Northcote, badly needed ... thank you! Although it's becoming like a monster franchise with South Yarra, Camberwell and Northcote restaurants are now serving Melbournians, they do serve good dumplings, definitely value for money ... coupled with good and reasonable wines and attentive, very pleasant service, what could go wrong ... since its opening night, we, about 24 of us go here every month is a testament to their food and service. Again, thank you for bringing the dumpling joy to Northcote. JT-May 2019.
