Great place to go for a morning, midday, or afternoon walk. All under shade.nHas a viewing 'tank' for art and has live entertainment every now and which can be purchased through ticketek.nPlenty of water stations and clean walking paths.nNo dogd allowed in here though.nNice rainforest smells and you can see wild life throughout the day.nCouncil seems to keep the area nice and maintained.

The Tanks are great facilities for art and entertainment events and displays.  As part of the Superb botanical gardens, the entire area really does offer a lot for an outing.  From strolls through the gardens, various hiking trails, bird watching, markets, restaurants, visitors center and of course art displays and concerts/ shows at Tanks.  A lot of it is also completely free and accessible even by short walk from the middle of town.

Great repurposed venue for live events and art exhibitions.nI enjoy going here to see live performances.nnBeing a repurposed venue keeps the heritage and history of the place, while giving it new light for new attractions and events.

Cool, Relaxed, Spacious, Great environment for large Art works.

My favourite venue in Australia. Set in the Botanical gardens, ex-navy diesel tanks that have been beautifully repurposed for art exhibitions and live music.
