The $14 curry and rice deal attracted us to the restaurant. No sign in the world could convey how tasty the meals would be. I enjoy a good Indian meal, but few leave me feeling as content as Tandoori Palance. Our waiter for the evening was courteous and friendly.
A real surprise, I didn't expect this curry to be so good. The flavours were delicate yet spicy and the naan bread was light and flavoursome. And when we came to pay we found there was an offer on Tuesday whereby all curries were 5 dollars less than usual. Result! Definitely recommend.
Best Indian Ive had in a while. The original taste can be noticed. Not the paste stuff you get at most Indian places. Enjoyed the hot food. They serve a good cup of tea.
I was blown away by this curry. I went for a pretty unadventurous selection: chicken tikka masala, a garlic naan, and some rice. And yet it was really incredible! It's worth noting that they ask how hot you would like your food. When I opted for hot, I was asked to pick between "Kiwi hot" and "Indian hot". I went for "Indian hot", which turned out to be exactly what I was after it was about the spiciness of a normal madras curry in the UK, for any Brits reading this.

Good food & courteous staff. Got $40 deal from book me for lunch 2 people. Food was good & quantity was more than enough for two people : good job guys!!
We stayed in Queenstown for three nights and being an Indian I typically need that Indian curry taste and we got it here...Amazing food and quality..all three days we had our dinner from Tandoori Palace. Paneer Butter Masala is must try.
Very Poor Service These guys doesn’t understand the BYO POLICY For alcohol The guys over there said that you can BYO ALCOHOL but we will charge you for the glasses i.e $4 each glass What the hell I have never seen any restaurant in New Zealand who charges just for the glasses. Moreover the people over there was not polite and very rude.while talking to the customer.
The food was delicious and traditional, the staff were fantastic when my sister had to go back to the hotel early when she felt unwell. P.S. I recommend the Mango Lassi
