Literally the best broken rice in Australia. I specifically love the meat. Has that nice char grilled flavor, so fragrant. Everything on the dish goes really well together. Generous portion. Simply amazing.
This place specialises in Vietnamese grilled pork chops - absolutely insane, you can smell this stuff from blocks away consistently good. Best place to have Bun Thit Neung; a regular here. I’d say this place would certainly makes it to the top 5 Vietnamese restaurants in town. I would stick to ordering any dish with the pork chop!

Used to be one of the best places to get Hu tieu mi...we got there about one hour before closing time...and they served us old and stale food spring rolls and grilled meat even though they had a fresh batch coming. Pretty disappointed. Also took the second dish about 25 minutes to come out.
Now I understand the queues out front. Smokey bbq pork with broken rice? Best I’ve ever had. Balanced flavours, traditional setting, helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back and try all my other Viet favourites!

There is nothing on this menu that I've tried that I haven't liked! What's outstanding are their pork chops with broken rice soooo fragrant, noodle soups such as the pork and prawn dry egg noodles and crab rice vermicelli soup! My weekly go-to!
Tan Thanh Loi has the best Com Tam in Footscray if not in Melbourne
You should try broken rice with grilled pork rib here if you're okay with fish sauce. Broken rice here is the best in Melbourne.
