I’ve tried the continental and rye loaf. Loved them both. I asked for recommendations and the guy at the front explained patiently. I will be back to try other :
Grabbed a couple of take away rolls, vegetarian with plenty of avocado and a salmon roll with cream cheese. Wow, disappointing! 2 thin slices of salmon sticking out from the roll and no salmon actually inside the roll. Feel ripped off, it's like a salad roll with accidental salmon. Bread roll might have been from yesterday. Vegetarian roll was wrong order and ended up with the salami at home. Too late to return how we it was tasty. Good news is that the bread is tasty. Would rate higher on the bread, lower on just my salmon roll.
Coffee is good. Would have loved to dine in and taste the baked goods but as I had to rush, I chose the steak and mushroom pie. I was sorely disappointed when I ate it. Very uninspired, pastry not crisp. Just flatline. I asked for it to be heated up, unhelpful staff said it's already heated. For me, I know pies could be bought, but the staff's attitude was the topper. Wrong job if you're gonna have that attitude. Walked away disappointed with overall experience.
We stopped in here for brunch today, highly recommend the almond croissant, delicious! Quick, friendly service and well priced.
We have used them a few times and everytime they have forgotten our order or can't find it, and they are big orders that we rely on The staff are pretty rude and hard to deal with. Plus the coffee sucks. Would not recommend
I’ve had coffee here for a number of months now and staff are polite and coffee is good but unfortunately there is a lot of confusion taking orders. Recently and for the third and final time I sat waiting for my coffee for over 20 mins. It wasn’t busy, the barista had just forgotten. Once or twice, well it can happen but three times is a disorganised fail. Update. Service did vastly improve but over the past few months it’s drastically deteriorated again. Upon ordering coffee on quiet days, it is taking more than 15 mins to get my order. Slow service is becoming consistent. Owners are well behind the eight ball in running a good cafe/bakery.
Delicious pastries. Best cinnamon rolls in the area. Delicious strudels. Also love the almond croissant with custard in it The only downside is the size of the pastries seem inconsistent so one week you'll get a big pastry, one week it'll be much smaller.
Very good backers in the town, they make nice sour dough breads : way much better than the bread you get it from many other places. Little pricy, but I think it’s worth to pay for the traditional slow fermentation process.
Excellent almond croissant, delicious fresh juice. Bread here is also very very good
