Nice venue, great French toast, shakshouka and warm salad. They have a 10% service charge added to the bill, which was surprising to note for a cafe. The coffee had a weird taste, I asked to check if it was almond latte, they confirmed it was, but it tasted weird. The staff was fine, but some points to note: - Taking a coffee order and when followed up after 10 minutes cafe half full and a few waiting for take away coffee the waitress said there is a backlog. She could have said that when she took the order - A additional person joined us and we moved to a new table, no menu offered to him until we asked for one As a coffee enthusiast and food blogger I have an appreciation for good coffee. I would return for the food but not the coffee. Rating is for food only.

Great little spot for a late breakfast on a rainy day. I had the folded eggs and they we as advertised with a generous chunk of goat cheese + 2 pieces of toast - hit the spot lots of other good options on the menu too.

Located in Prahran, Tall Timber was a cafe serving coffee and brunch meals. I’d been here a few times and every time my brunch experience was very positive; coffee was consistently great, and so was the food. On my last visit, we ordered their Supergreen salad with quinoa, almond and currants, as well as the porridge with roasted nuts, shaved coconuts and mixed berries. The supergreen salad was flavourful and crunchy; the porridge was hearty with fruity notes. Service was prompt and friendly.

To be honest, nothing special on it... food was just ok the bread was terrible hard to eat, the staff was kind of not in a good mood, overpriced for the service and the quality of the food. Anyways, not my place to be back!

Great spot, delicious food and coffee. We dined outside and it was a little chilly but the staff had the heaters on which made for a more comfortable brunch experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic service and a most creative tasty dish! Honestly, some of the best flavours I’ve eaten out recently. I will definitely travel to come back here.

Excellent coffee and friendly service. I haven’t tried the food lately but the coffee latte was presented immaculately this time and the character of the coffee is somewhat soft and aromatic but by no means weak.

Service was good. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The coffee is always great!

The best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten. Good price considering the quality. Friendly staff and well located. The barrister knew their craft and produced outstanding coffee. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5

First time. Nice looking place.  Outdoor seating. Coffee good.  Service good. One thing: was getting warm and humid on this early December day inside.  Honestly the door shut and the air con on should have been automatic.
