Interesting to see so many conflicting reviews for this place. Tonight we had a great experience with 9 of us including children. Staff were attentive and made sure the kids were looked after. All the meals were very nice. Steaks were cooked well. All delivered in a timely manner and very tasty. The place was perhaps 85% full and there did not seem to be any issue with meals delivered on time. So I'm not sure if others negative experiences were due to stay shortage? Anyway all good from our point of view.
WARNING WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE WARNING WARNING Well what can I say. I don't think we have ever had a worse dining experience ever. We came for my father's 50th birthday. Meant to be an exciting night out and meal. Well did it take a turn. Arrived 7pm for our booking didn't get our meals till 9pm after numerous issues. It took 15minutes to get someone's attention for water. Then an extra 10-15 for menus. After one round of water we tried getting attention to get more water and order entrees... Well that didn't work so we went up and grabbed water ourself. 10-15 later we had someone come.with water and when I asked for some she then goes oh you guys haven't been served let me go get someone then didn't pour me water and went off for another 10 or so minutes. We'll skip the time frame to main meals... 1hour and a half later every dish comes out cold. And I mean every meal but one Because they forgot about that one...So we sent the meals.back and spoke to the manager on which he assured us 13minutes. Well they did that. Except the chips were undercooked. Steak wasn't cooked properly medium/raw instead of medium well... I don't eat cows After two more attempts at my steak I gave it back. 2 hours in hungry and no longer interested. I would strongly recommend you go to Macca's or hungry jacks. KFC. You'll get better service and food. The costs were phenomenal for the most lackluster experience Do not come here I repeat do not come here.
Phenomenal food and great service, specially the manager Amit and the server kim and crystal along with all the chef’s always goes above and beyond to accomplish the guest needs, will be back again.
Very average food… and the worst bread basket ever. Sizzling beef wasn’t sizzling, partially cold. Fried banana was cold too, ice cream was tasteless
Came here for an evening meal and the menu had changed from the last time I was here on business, there are only a few items I would of tried and decided on a pork dish with some fancy items with it. Well that’s not what arrived on the plate, my pork dish came all cut up into chunks like I needed that done!! It’s like they didn’t know how cooked it was and the jus turned into a soup. The mash was a microwaved purée which after sitting in the soup/jus disappeared. I was very disappointed in the quality. I would not recommend this place and would highly recommend you take a walk next door into hanumans at the Hilton. Breakfast wasn’t much better with raw hash browns and overcooked bacon. There really wasn’t a nice thing to say about this restaurant. The old chefs were somewhat better.
Pretty ordinary meal for top dollar. Risotto with very little rice, sizzling beef that was basically broiled, desserts that didn't live up to the $16 price tags and we had to accept our third choice of wine once again top dollar because the mid choice wines weren't in stock. If you are dithering about dining here - try somewhere else.
I did both breakfast and lunch. Lunch: my chips seemed very salty then I noticed clumps of salt on the plate Breakfast: the music is very loud from 6am waking surrounding rooms. The buffet is excellent The venue is pleasant but the chairs and tables are well worn, and at the end of their life ... Not up to the standard of the restaurant is wanting to portray
Don't believe the hype... Have had some really good food in the Alice so far, but this was by far the most expensive and the most ordinary. Flavours when there was some just didn't gel. Only positive, meat was cooked well and succulent. Sadly neither satisfying nor filling...
Had breakfast and dinner here. Food and service were excellent. The cauliflower soup was amazing. The duck and the salmon were both outstanding. The decor is very nice. I'm a big fan of tablecloths, and Tali has them. If you prefer outdoor seating, you get seated in a nicely designed courtyard with a rock garden. You're not looking at a parking lot or a a street with traffic. If you're not a guest of the hotel but are just coming here to eat, there's plenty of free parking. So far, this has been my best dining experience in Australia.
Chairs a bit dated. Dinner was good, above average quality and taste. Breakfast was the typical buffet breakfast you get in most 4 start rated hotels.Food: 4/5
