A large venue with pool tables to hire, some arcade games, an extensive collection of comics in Chinese, and a restaurant area with Taiwanese talk shows on TV. Some people only come for the pool tables, some only for the food and drinks, others come for both. The food on offer includes Taiwanese meals, street food and snacks, and drinks include bubble tea. Overall food has a homely taste to it and prices are cheap for what you get which makes for a great casual meal usually attracting a younger crowd. The venue itself looks like it could do with a renovation, but otherwise it's a great and affordable place to hang out. There's limited parking out front, or else you'll need to look for street or complex parking.
Affordable Taiwanese food. For the amount of food you get this place is gold! They have nice taiwanese fried chicken. They change my rice free for charge when I found out the rice has pork on it. I really appreciate it. Very recommended.
Good atmosphere for socialisation and relaxing by playing billiards, or simply having a meal there while watching TV or reading manga my childhood memory for sure!!. Having been there twice during my two visits to Perth in April and July, 2022 a few hours before my flight departure. Location in the heart of Northbridge and close to hostels and bars, Chinatown, but pretty quiet and clean there compare to a few blocks nearby. Having a chat with the owner and their family during my last visit, which is a really pleasant experience : It’s been here for 20 years and witnessed the change over time and growth of a generation. I will definitely visit again next time when heading to Perth.
Definitely go here if I miss Taiwanese food!!! Tasted exactly same when I was in Taiwan. But they need clean environment for a bit…
Taste like home! lots of comic and magazines to read as well Good value, huge portion. Highly recommend the pork broth rice and chicken rice
Authentic Taiwanese food, everything is delicious, we will definitely go back again.
Crave for Taiwanese food, this is probably the go to, was there for bubble tea and pool, which the place smells really good of braised pork and fried chicken. On the down side, it doesn’t seem to be air conditioned and it gets warm really quickly when the crowd comes in. Green tea Yakult could do more yakult and it was too light. If you are a TW/HK comic fan, the collection brings back much memory from the 90s to 00s
Authentic taiwanese dishes. Food portion not huge though. Lots of comics book to read and pool tables available while you chill.Food: 5/5
Nice dining area, good for relaxing
Cheap and good. Not the best, but for ~ $12 you get a big portion and decent food. Picture: deep fried chicken and spring roll
