I was having conversation with a nice tafe student up until the trainer came up to me and directly told me in a rude voice of tone to stop talking, this is an exam! Rude & very uncomfortable and unprofessional, if this were an exam state this in clients emails before we turn up to our appointment instead of a trainer shutting us down on the spot. Your trainer won’t have customers return with this horrible attitude. I felt silenced. I might as well have been told to shut up.nnI reported it and the lady above was backing her saying how wonderful she is, unfortunately she’s not in my opinion. Even the students were walking on eggshells in that classroom that day. To say at the least, the lady in charge spoke down about the student to me mentioning that young girl is a chatterbox and was probably told to stop talking all day. That itself is not acceptable. In the beauty industry as a customer, beauty is also our therapy. I’ve been to training sessions with other providers where students are encouraged to speak and do their job at the same time. It’s life skills after all to get students industry ready. The student is 16, what do you expect from that age. They are young and like to have a chat.nnPlease, if you want silent appointments, notify customers before we turn up. Your trainer needs to tone down her attitude, we are people too. This is feedback strictly advocating for a more pleasant experience for customers, I’m not tearing anyone down. I’m glad my mum took my appointment because I don’t even know if I would have been able to stay in that environment, it was toxic.
Had Christmas lunch in the training restaurant, which was beautifully presented and tasted great. Students were very capable and the service from them was excellent.
IT Department Toowomba teachers. I hope student/s can reach you if they have questions. They are in Tafe to learn and not to do it themselves. Gladly ChatGPT can assist them because human are not reliable.
Very good well equipped campus, all facilities great including restaurant food is a 10/10 , friendly staff, the only minor complaint I'd have is regarding the library. To my understanding libraries are a quite space. It gets VERY noisy in there at times and the librarian does nothing to keep the noise down. From people eating chatting and laughing loudly, people having their lunch in there , even the staff are loud you can hear the banter in the staff room from outside . I feel like there's so many other places on campus to chat and eat lunch ect, because people specifically come to the library to study, read, focus in quite, while accessing resources. Other then that great experience on campus!
I had a couple of amazing young girls do my hair today. They did a brilliant job and their teacher was fabulous as well.
