This tafe campus is so neglected and underfunded compared the tafe Enmore and it doesn't have a useful course structure. The main problem is that it didn't have a drawing teacher and other essential classes like the course at enmore. The design class is good but not great. The design classes in enmore were more structured. It also had a smaller break then enmore as well.
2 stars as I found the teachers to be really nice but that was the only positive. The online classes were extremely frustrating, with a lot of rhetoric on inclusiveness and irrelevant student opinions. I found the time spent in class helped very little with assessments and could have been better spent dedicated to studying . With a course duration that's been reduced from 18 months to 12 months, I felt the organization and direction offered was very poor, given the time sensitivity.
Generally had a good experience here as a TVET student, some unforgettable times and ok content delivery which could have been a little more fun. The canteen facility is awesome I love the staff there, the food was good too!nOne of the better campuses to go to :
Bad teachers they made my learning so boring and not fun at all and taught pointless subjects!! Also told correct information on Enrolment, Was told if I pay $10 for parkings its free when I drive in or $8 If no sticker and that isn't the truth!! No wonder there isn't funding they are a stupid tafe I have ever been to!!!
A huge thank you to the Plumbing department of Wollongong Tafe, the entire Plumbing Team from teachers through to student support and administration are always incredibly helpful with supporting apprentices and trade companies.nFIVE STAR SERVICE :.
