Absolutely amazing food, highly recommend the salt and pepper calamari and the tortellini romana. Both meals were delicious and for how good they were well worth the price. The creme brulee was divine, the best I've had in years. We will definitely be eating here again, couldn't recommend highly enough.
Amazing food, great service and a warm atmosphere. All meals for our table were delicious and well worth the price. I would definitely recommend Table 48 as place to dine at, myself and the party I was with could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Special thanks to Gus and his team for going above and beyond.
I love coming to Table 48 it's no doubt it's my favourite place to go in Ballarat. The food is Amazballs. Followed by the staff plus the Atmosphere is great. Gus is a legend. Iv had Steaks in Dubai and 3 times expensive and no where near as nice as Table 48. When in Ballarat a must to visit you won't be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Great menu. Kid-friendliness: Special menu Parking: On street parking Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta.
Absolutely amazing service here and by far the best pepper sauce I’ve had! If you’re looking for a warm cozy atmosphere with great food this is the place to go. Definitely worth the travel and highly recommend for couples or families. Staff were so lovely and friendly thankyou so much!
Went here with friends on a Saturday night, and they were pretty booked but moved some things around and made space for us. Food and drinks came out quickly. Food was very enjoyable and the dessert was excellent. The meals are priced higher than normal, but you definitely get what you pay for - I recommend the cocktails, they're well made and with quality spirits. It will not be a cheap night out, 4 hungry adults ran up about $350. Would do it again, I'd just call ahead and book next time.
After a good experience a few years ago, we came back hoping for the same. A rather underwhelming experience this time and we won't be coming back. A glass of white for $12, a glass of orange juice for $6, a credit card surcharge when paying via savings account. Not pretty. The food was not bad but it doesn't help if the vegetables on the signature meal are undercooked. Staff forgot to bring anther bottle of water. From the table people can see the store room - not a pleasant site. The place needs a good cleanup. Good bones but everybody looked severely stressed and exhausted. I suppose the rates and other operational costs makes it difficult to survive, hence the price increases, but price increases will drive more customers away. Something needs to change to make this a happy place again.
Food was good and service excellent. A full sit down restaurant with good variety on the menu including vegan and GF choices. Still had a bit of a pub feel to it. Can't explain it - might have been other guests, maybe music in the background would help, but a pub feel.
Table 48 has become a regular for us. Within easy walking distance. The food is consistently good and the service friendly and professional. Nice wine listFood: 5/5
