Despite the work going on in the car park causing issues to navigating the entrance , the directions were good
wish it was like it used to be. I made the mistake of using short term parking and had to pay $25 for about an hour. The entry for long term was so far back from the entrance, I didn’t want to go in unless I knew there was close spots. And there may of been but by the time you see spots it’s all fenced. Panicked and went to the first entry I could. So many cars speeding on the way in and near the roundabouts makes it a bit scary for those not used to it. Finding virgin arrivals - that were actually in departures was confusing. The signs just stop when you go passed the last sign before the escalators. We went back and forth 3 times before a lovely man in a yellow vest downstairs gave us more accurate directions. You actually have to scan in to get into arrivals in departures now. UGGs since 1974 set off the scanners and had to go through separate. Leg pat down to go with it. Good to know!
Outrageously expensive and impossible to find parking close to the terminal. Do yourself a favour, take the train.
Lots of walking to get from parking to t1 domestic
Cheaper to buy a plot of land than to park here.nAbsolute extortionate prices.
