Unbelievably yummy food and even better value! $9 for 4 decent sized fish pieces, a truckload of chips, and a drink. Such a satisfying meal! Hope they remain the same, will love to come back!
Have been eating take away from here for quite some time now and found to be One of the best fish and chip Burger takeaways around, you can phone order and pickup soon after, always good food. New management and still seems to good value and service. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating
The people running this business need to go back and learn how to cook. We just ordered and the fishcakes were over cooked and near burnt and the 2 kids Pluto pups were so over cooked that the batter was hard. When Sylvia was running the place the food was always so yummy but unfortunately this business has fallen by the way side. Would like to know when was the last time they changed their oil as the food had a weird taste food was so bad it went into the bin. Will definitely not be ordering from here again and would not recommend it to anyone. The ham and cheese toasties I just made was way better than anything from Sylvia's takeaway. Can't see this place being open to much longer.
Wow the chips here are the best fish and chip shop chips ever and the fish is nice and fresh and flaky with a nice moist and tender inside I highly recommend you check this place out because this is definitely a hidden gem in Newcastle
Something has changed in the last couple of weeks at this store. The works burgers bought today where sub standard, a tasteless undersized piece of meat on the bun, no cheeses, an egg cooked in a egg ring and over cooked…. topped off with a dried out bun. A pretty disappointing meal when compared to what you would normally get.
Good food and service. Take away food done right is why this is a regular stop for me. Their scallops are awesome. Check it out for lunch or a snack on a crunchy fresh scallop/potato cake. Whatever you want to call them.
Very nicely cooked, definitely better then others around. Ring, order, pickup = very good.
I had a soggy seafood basket. The battered sav I ordered was broken in two and was just as soggy as tge seafood basket. All in all a complete waste of money.
Under cooked food served by rude staff who expect you to pay more when they get an order wrong. Refuse to fix the problems, then get abusive when they are told i'm not paying for the wrong order. Happy to not shop there again. 1 star awarded because 0 isn't accepted.
