What an awesome experience on boxing day to pick up an item weighing 260kg then to find out at home that it has been damaged behind its protective packaging I assume by the forklift.nCalled the store and was told to bring it back to assess the damage, so another 30min drive back to the store . So besides my time wasted I thought these things happen and I'll just exchange it !! Then the disappointment starts when I was told by the manager that they have one left at the back of the store but was told they are too busy as it being boxing day, which I would understand but there was hardly anyone in the store. I asked again if they could please have someone get it and the manager just gave me an attitude NO . So then I asked for a refund which he agreed to but 4 days later have not received anything. What has happen to customers service when people can't be bothered.
Friendly and helpful staff, however today I entered without my work uniform on and was followed around like a criminal! There were others in the store not getting this type of treatment either do I when I’m in my work uniform. I feel as if I should be able to shop without looking over my shoulder and having someone starring and following me to every isle. I made a purchase so it’s not like I was doing anything abnormal. This is unprofessional behaviour and next time those staff are in I’ll be simply going else where. Sunday 7th of July 2024nnUpdated, Thankyou for your honesty and that’s completely understandable next time I’ll make sure to be in work uniform to prevent this happening again! I was wearing a much nicer outfit than you described as I had ankle socks and a dress shirt on. but i understand what “types of people” your referring to. Sometimes clearing the air makes things better now knowing you caught someone the same day and having your adrenaline from that still going! Thankyou for addressing this issue with me. I will return and make corrections to my review upon further interactions.
Took a small electric chainsaw in to get a new blade - it was very blunt and a new blade was cheaper than a sharpening tool. They did not have the right blade in stock and then the manager looked at it and offered take the saw home where he would sharpen the blade for free. Picked it up 3 days later. Old school service. Very happy and grateful customer. Thank you so much!
The staff at Sydney Tools Blackburn were both incredibly helpful and patient. Kieran helped me to find the products I was looking for, and Steve also went above and beyond, taking the time to answer my questions in a knowledgeable, friendly and easy to understand manner. Will definitely be shopping here again, cheers guys!
Picked up some commercial outdoor EGO gear that was amazing value with the battery redemption offer and also topped up on some Milwaukee tool items. The guys are always happy to help load up the ute on the way out when your hands are full. The store is always well stocked and the staff knowledgeable.
