The grand and beautiful Sydney Harbour Bridge has become an architectural symbol that is instinctively a signifier of not only Sydney but also Australia. It has been a quintessential icon of Sydney and an important part of the city’s landscape since 1932 and it is one of the finest places to visit in Sydney.
would definitely recommend the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb to anyone who's contemplating doing it - even if you're not that good with heights. The views are amazing, and the guides are wonderful.
Very well built bridge with multiple lanes for traffic, trains and even features lanes for pedestrians and cyclists. People often associate the shape with the city... Some thing to do with icons and what not.... "Iconic" did you say?
One of the most iconic and must-go places in Sydney. Can't tell others you went to Sydney without landing a foot on the Sydney Harbour Bridge for sure. Snapped some photos on, from, of and with it, from day to night, from north south east and west, selfies and all sorts of poses. A must-go, to tag along the Sydney Opera House.
The views from it are equally impressive. I walked across the bridge on the pedestrian walkwaynot the very expensive walk across the arch at the top. The walkway views are magnificent on their own.
Amazing if you don't like heights. It's not cheap I paid around £120 for the privilege of climbing up during the early evening. Small groups only and safety gear is mandatory. You cannot take your own mobile phones with you for safety reasons. Photographs are available at extra cost.
This was my second bridge climb after 13 years and I’d forgotten how splendid the views of Sydney are. We were lucky with the weather as it wasn’t too hot plus the smoke wasn’t noticeable. It had been bad last week according to the Guide.
