This place is packed with people. The market is small and these few shops/restaurants selling same overpriced seafood. You gotta try the delicious oysters Sydney rocks, Pacific etc but way overpriced plate for two. The fried squid tasted horrible and heavily seasoned bake oyster took over the taste of oyster. The lobster was fair.nnOverall I don’t recommend visitor who’re targeting for taste and freshness rather than looking for vibe.
Sydney Fish MarketnnWe went there on Good Friday. It was very crowded, but still a great experience to be there. The seafood was super fresh, and the cooking was excellent. There are many kiosks to choose from, and everything looked really good—especially the oysters, which were absolutely amazing!nnThe atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.nDefinitely a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Tried tuna fried and it was good. They offer fresh seafood and cooked one. A lot of variety. Recommend for solo, friends, or family. Protect your food from the seagulls if you’re eating outside.
Absolutely fresh and amazing oysters! The lobster rolls were awesome too. Overall if you love the seafood, and if you’re here to eat, this is a must place to go. But if you want to get the experience of discovering fish markets, I think the space was a bit too small for it.
