The girl at the counter is clueless about cigars. They don't even have a good selection. Very disappointed by the experience. Didn't have a torpedo or a perfecto. Sold me a Nicaragua cigar claiming it to be puro which I am sure from the taste that it has mixed fillers. I doubt I would come back for more.
Not only did they not sell matches the single best way of lighting any cigar, the shop attendant knew absolutely nothing about cigars, least of all what was on offer. While I wasn’t expecting this to be Davidoff of London, this barely passes as a suburban tobacconist.
I’m new to cigars. I was showed what to do and what NOT to do and how to properly appreciate a cigar. They have ranges from beginner which was my purchase, all the way to Micheal Jordan’s and Castro’s favourites so they have everything for beginners and experienced cigar smokers. I really left there with a great idea and understanding of what it means to smoke a cigar and I’ll definitely be back again soon, cheers again Zane. Really really good insight.
I wanted to buy cigarettes. Unfortunately, This shop only sells cigars, lighters. the staff introduced me to the cigar brand. let me have a little bit tempted to try it. the introduction is very specific, many kinds bought two. very recommend this cigar store
It's been a while since I found this cigar store in the CBD. There are many varieties to choose from. I chose two cigars. Cost $96. Very happy. I'll be back.
I found the prices were a bit higher than other places. Store worker had great knowledge of cigars and had plenty of time for me. I never felt pressured on selecting any particular type and he explained things very well. Low on stock with my regular cigars so needed to try some new ones. Will definitely come back to check stock when I’m in the CBD again!
Went in to get these and was surprised by the less than average market price. Got nothing to complain about, staff gave my some recommendations.She too is a keen cigar nerd looking to educate tobacco noobs like me. Honestly; best we got in Australia with the draconian tobacco laws.
I visited the Sydney Cigar House to buy a present for a friend who was about to have a baby boy for the first time. My time was almost running out for ideas but suddenly it's snapped an idea for cigars! at the same time, I was having a terrible back-pain too. I know well the tradition I am not sure if it's an Australian tradition too but it's originated from the North American tradition to give someone who is going to have a new born baby..a cigar for the father as a token of congratulation, the proud of the father, masculinity, and a leader status. The shop that I visited, it's small but the knowledge of the sales person is far greater experience and I have learned a lot from him about cigars. If I want a cigar for myself, well...I do know where to go next time!
Incredible service! I missed my train and called ahead to see if they would stay open for an extra 10 minutes and they were more than happy. Once I arrived I was given a thorough brief on what my options were given my budget ABC the whisky I was aiming to pair of with. Just brilliant, 100% recommend.
Quality stuff sold here. they stock my favourite cigars and have a great range for gift ideas. A quality cuban cigar can go up to a few hundred dollars so a box of 10s is well over $1000.
