I was travelling during the afternoon on Thursday 22 January 2026 from Sydney International Terminal 1. I went to check in and drop my bags. I was greeted by Tamara who helped with checking me in and sending off my luggage. Despite how busy the afternoon was, Tamara had a smile on, was extremely helpful and overall the best human I’ve dealt with at Sydney Airport. Thank you Tamara for calming the nerves, being so helpful, friendly and patient. We need more people like you in the world!
Busy, but if you can figure out to get from T1 to T3, make sure you have enough time for connecting flights.....shuttle bus takes some time. Don't be fooled, 2 hrs is not enough time between connections for this
Free service but beware, there's curfew probably 10pm through to 6am NO GOOD. Look for purple bus best from outside T3near Taxis #2across driveway-there's a roadside sign domestic qantas terminal not so much Virgin Aus side 15min

The terminal is clean, signage is clear, and staff are generally helpful.nnFacilities like lounges, charging stations, and seating areas make waiting more comfortable. Transport access is easy with train, taxi, and rideshare options directly connected. Overall, a solid international hub for arriving or departing from Sydney.
Slow and infrequent. When one did turn up it then went through the domestic terminals twice before going to international. Terrible service and makes Sydney airport seem like third world standard
