Seems to be very popular with the locals here. All the bread & cakes looked ok, but all we wanted was coffee.  Coffee was a bit of a let down, even with it being Merlo. Didn't come up to strength even with the double shot.

I just cant go past the mini sausage rolls, for some reason even though they are same as the large, they are just better than the fantastic large ones. 2 for $5, and they are not "mini". Nice sandwiches, beautiful coffee, nice everything!! Really friendly, wont disappoint. Great pricing.

Bought a loaf of rye bread yesterday. Thing was so hard I could barley cut it, thought it will be okay for toast and nope can barely chew through it.  It was very stale and disappointing when I payed $5 for it.  Donuts are really nice though!!!!  And service was nice as well.

Im in Laidley twice a week & i stop into this bakery every time.  The best coffee, sausage rolls, pies & friendly service with a smile every time.  Keep up the good work guys! Thanks for great coffee :

What can I say a fantastic old school bakery with huge potato meat pie I can't go past when I'm delivering in town. Great service . Good value. Recommended for a great feed that fills u up . Great to see

Sweet Valley Bakery is in the main street of Laidley located at the pedestrian crossing.  We highly recommend this bakery after they delivered pies, sausage rolls and cakes for my father's funeral.  We couldn't have been happier with their food and service.  Thank you Sweet Valley Bakery.

Great cakes, freshest hot bread, good coffee

pies tasted like rubber , like they had been thawed out and heated in a microwave and way overcooked on top...apple turnovers tasted like they had been put in a freezer without properly wrapping or left in there way too long then thawed  pastry resembled cardboard and cream was disgusting like it had been frozen and thawed & had started breaking down not a hot day & attempted to eat less than 10minutes after purchase enough time to get from bakery to home . this bakery used to be great no idea whats going on but its certainly showing in their food. WILL NOT be purchasing from there again. woolworths apple turnovers taste fresher than these did and considering the amount paid for 3 plain pies, 2 apple turnovers and a kids cake it should at least be edible. my grandson wouldnt even eat his kids novelty cake.
