What used to be the lobby of Mandarin Orchard is now transformed into the lobby bar - Gingerlily with cakes / bar snacks / drinks / food served. The decor is good with colour palette to go with the mixture of existing / updated features to bring the Hilton Orchard Singapore connecting the two wings together. The service was prompt, with QR codes allowing you to browse the snacks drinks and food menu. Can get a bit cold on a rainy afternoon. Hopefully on a warm sunny afternoon, the natural lighting can give a different feel. Of course, one can go down to shop at the Mandarin Gallery after recharging at Gingerlily. #andrewtanatomisingapore
Had such a great time at Ginger.Lily today! Went there to have a tea party to celebrate my friend who are getting married soon. We actually stayed a little bit longer than our time but the staff were so kind to us and didn’t chase us out. It meant a lot to me and my friends, esp the bride-to-be. The ambience was nice and the food + presentation was lovely too! Definitely it’s a place that need to try! esp if you have special occasion or just want to treat yourself a great time. What I wish they could improve is that I hope they could have alternative milk options non-dairy for their coffee. Other than that everything was lovely! Thank you, Ginger.Lily team!
Everything is good, especially the service. We are delighted with all staff. We booked for two, but our son also joined us at no charge for him 3.5 years old. He got a welcome drink of orange juice, and our welcome drink was excellent! Worth the money to pay. Highly recommend!!
The Ginger Lily high tea session was so different from the rest of places we have been to. It started off with a glass of kombucha followed by our scones with the nice pairing, then their signature Ginger-Lily sandwiches and sweets, and also the warm savouries. In addition, there's also 2 rounds of tea journey that we could go for. Service wise was great for the whole team. The service staff especially KC has been extremely helpful in arranging for my hubby birthday celebration for the cake and also sung him a birthday song. In addition, he also gotten us a special-curated drink for us to pair with the cake. Overall he is very attentive and also knowledgeable in sharing the high tea items. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience at Ginger Lily and definitely one of the high tea sessions that we will be back for!
Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff was ever so attentive and patiently explained each item in the set. The food was presented stylishly and tasted not bad. The burgers and lobster rolls were too dry for my liking. The sweet items were great, loved the Valrhona chocolate cake and almond fig tart. Great choice for special occasion to spoil the better half!
I had a special Chinese New Year afternoon tea with probably 20 different pastries/savories and two different teas. The meal was delightful - most notable were the scones and the lobster style roll. The tea was very generous. KC and Bella were my wonderful servers today and both were so positive and pleasant. Highly recommend.
The presentation was nice. The service was good. However, the savory food are all cold, the bread are hard and the cheese have hardened upon served. The scones were cold too. The macaroon and chocolate cake were good tho!
Lovely place which we came with high expectations but totally disappointing start off with staff Bella gave us a long table with arm chairs and saying all tables are reserved which later turn out all the table still empty until we left, despite us requested for a sofa seat because we came with a baby, not so kind and considerate as a 5* hotel standard staff? After given us the menu, she never came back to our table to take orders or given any kind of service, we were served by other staffs later. Cakes and drinks were pretty good but staffs are not attentive. Ordered snacks but came cold after long wait and without cutlery, tea came without teaspoon, hard to get any attention from them we end up using our dessert fork to eat the fries. Hope the service will get better the next time we come back!
Went on a Monday afternoon. Place was really quiet, comfortable. Service was greattttttt! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Food wise, it was quite different from other high tea as they dont just serve ALL sandwiches. But also had bao and burger! Taste wise, i think it's okay for high tea. Sweets were really sweet, so I could not really finish everything. Tea options were small but unique : and comes with free flow coffee too. Kombucha was a nice touch to the experience. I would return for the overall experience! 58++ per pax
I was blown away by the amazing food and drinks, as well as the excellent service provided by the staff. The menu had a great selection of food and beverages, all of which were expertly prepared and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that our experience was top-notch from start to finish. Shoutout to their mixologist Michael who made sure we were happy especially with our drinks, and given it a personal touch for which a friend of mine couldn't have very strong alcohol. Highly recommending this place.
