Local East Vic Park Market Deli Butcher favourite. You can buy to your heart's content anything & everything in quantity or smaller, fresh or packaged, frozen or chilled, it's a delight and has been a favourite for many years, even has a Seniors Day special prices on that day, check it out!
Unfortunately have tried to ring but unable to get through. Your fruit and vegetables I would rate as probably a Grade "C". I have had some really bad experiences with once I buy them and bring them home. I have tried to speak to the check-out girls but they're not really interested. I surely miss the old Swansea St market. You have certainly lost me as a customer!
Swansea has a great range of whole foods and international lines. It's great if you're looking to cut down on plastic packaging whilst stocking up your pantry - there's no issue using reusable produce bags.
Been coming here for near on a decade now. Met the owner a week before xmas and it makes sense why this is an institution in the suburb, our bike battery died when we arrived and Mick went above and beyond. Extremely friendly staff and you can find things here you can't find anywhere else.
Its a pity, the last two one star reviews are fake. Both ladies are related to an employee who no longer works for us. Pretty sad!!!! i was expecting this to happen from you ladies. if you have nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all! I used to Love visiting this store, the fresh produce was outstanding and the manager there Michael was always helpful and polite. On my last visits I noted he was no longer there, and my previous five star review is no more . The fruit and veg is a very sad and sorry affair now. Wont be back.
Lots of choice for both African and Asian foodstuffs. Also, there's a butcher shop for all sorts of protein, fruits, and vegetables available with a bakery. It's a one stop shop of you need to buy in bulk too.
Been going there on and off for a lot of years butlast weekend did me, stonefruit @ $17 a kg,Woolworths had the same $ 4.90 a kg and good quality, your prices have all crept up,I’ll be getting my fruit and elsewhere.
The new owners have refreshed the EVO stalwart but haven’t taken its soul! The range is similar, in some cases expanded; the produce is excellent and the owner goes out of his way to source local bargains like avocados for 9c and sweet potatoes for $1.99 a kilo - both sourced because the usual wholesalers wouldn’t take the oversized produce. Go with an open mind, and if you don’t like what you see or don’t see what you want, maybe have a chat to the owners instead of leaving nasty reviews. They couldn’t be any nicer.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. This market shop is really really good. The sandwiches here never disappoint me and the prices are to my liking. There are also very nice cakes , pies and sausage roll too. So much goodness in this establishment and Very Nice staff work in there too!
