We visited Suzy's Kitchen in Point Cook for a late lunch and am basing this review on two orders—Mee Goreng and Char Kuey Teow not their Banana Leaf Rice or Mixed Rice options.nnBoth dishes were freshly cooked, which I appreciated, but to be honest, I've had better versions of these in Melbourne. While the flavors were good, they lacked the punch or authenticity.nnThe overall food experience was decent. Customer service was tip-top!
The best South Indian and Malaysian food that I ever had in whole Victoria. The food was excellent and customer service was spot on! I will certainly come back in future!
Another Malaysian restaurant in Melbourne west. Feel free to taste their amazing tasty dishes.
Food is amazing and great welcome. Place is small but food is so authentic. Highly recommend for family together.
Pukul Mati at its best! nnThe word about this joint has spread all the way to the eastern suburbs. And with good reason.nnThe Banana Leaf set was excellent! A generous helping of rice with 3 veggies, rasam and papadum, we added a mutton curry to seal the deal. A little on the pricey side at $12 for the mutton and would’ve loved to switch the sambar for curry instead, but I didn’t ask either so we’ll see next time.nnNasi Lemak was delicious. Took some time to arrive but my guess it was the freshly fried chicken that took a little longer. Fragrant and tasty, the chili perfectly sweet & spicy.nnOur little one had a Masala thosai which was delicious. Not spicy and crispy on the edges. Sambar was a little salty to me but could be personal preference.nnWashed it all down with a tasty Bandung.nnService was amazing. Arrived at 11:50am for a Noon opening, only to be met with the restaurant being 50% full. It is a small indoor dining space, but that shows the hospitality. Servers were very friendly and kept coming around to ask if everything was alright and if we needed anything. Queues were literally snaking out the door with lots of patrons packing food too. Lots of free parking available in the front.nnWill certainly be returning even though it’s a 45min drive away for us. Keep it up Team, and hope to see this place double in size and open an outlet in the east too. Would recommend you folks to get a couple of ikea highchairs, cheap, slim and easy to clean.
