Worst sushi place ever. my friend bought a single sushi role for $3.85 but they charged her $15.69 they then refused to refund her, but after a while they finally agreed to refund her by cash, and gave a ripped $10 note to her. after all this the sushi was tiny and not worth our time or money.
Very annoying. The rice was hard and flavour less, the sushi roll was terribly small and they charged an extra dollar for brown rice. I specifically asked for wasabi and was given none and charging $5.20 for salmon and avocado sushi is the highest price I have ever paid for the smallest and flavourless sushi I have ever ate. Very rude! Don't buy there!!!
This place is a big rip off. Bought the salmon Deluxe. I’ve never seen sushi roll so thin before. They are charging so much but cutting sushi so thin that it’s half the normal size. Unethical conduct.
The worst sushi I’ve ever had- rice tasteless and too soft, not much other Ingredients fish or anything - very stingy business. Unfortunately that’s the only place for sushi the other store closed down or else won’t be eating that.
This place is cheating. The board on top of sushi counter stated $13 for 4 rolls, then I was charged $14.6. They explained the difference was GST, which was nowhere on the board. Avoid if you can.
Had grilled salmon for the first time from sushi world and was very disappointed, when ever I eat sushi I always have grilled salmon so I have gotten very familiar with the flavour and what to expect, I decided to try the grilled salmon at sushi world and as soon as I took a bight I felt that its very plain and lacked flavour, I even had my co worker try it and she wasn't impressed either, im not sure what it was but it was not satisfactory compared to very other time I've had it at all different kinds of sushi restaurant, and by the way the peice of salmon was very small and thin on all of the pieces. The lady questioned me as if I've never had sushi before, im no chef by any means but I've eaten grilled salmon long enough to know if it tastes below average. I went the next day and bought grilled salmon from spot in the food court and it was worlds upart in flavour and quality and size as well as being cheaper lol
My wife bought some rolls for lunch. They were mostly rice with little filling. Salmon/Avo, California. The prawn in the Tempura roll was really thin. The salmon sashimi, although thinner than before, was good.
Friendly staff, convenient location, tasty food made with fresh ingredients. Pretty good experience for a shop in such a high traffic area. The card tap fee of 1% was not disclosed though, would prefer if it was, as so many retailers don't charge it.
I am convinced that the 5 star reviews are fake. Absolutely awful sushi, left out 2 rolls as well. Do not go here
More expensive than other sushi places, and it’s terrible. I had to throw it out without finishing. My sushi was served warm. Surely that’s a food safety issue?
