Lovely authentic restaurant with a friendly service. Loved the ambiance. The food was amazing. Reasonable price and the portion size is generous. The salmon was fresh. They accept cash only. So remember to take. Definitely worth the visit. And we will keep coming back!
Contrary to the other reviews about hospitality, we had a totally different experience. First I thought it was a sweet and quaint place run by a Japanese couple. Pretty authentic. The food was amazing. The una don was amazing and I’d highly recommend it. Sushi delux was lovely. Fresh and good balance of rice and fish. The place itself is small and we came with two kids with high chairs. The guy got annoyed with my kids that was playing with two spoons and was constantly picking on something. Can come off a bit rude. If you keep that aside, I’d recommend the place. Overall 8/10 for the food, 5/10 for hospitality. If you are bringing kids, avoid bringing in the pram and there’s not kids change room.

This place is a gem. Had Gyoza, Unagi don, Katsu Curry and mochi for dessert. Everything was so on point, and good price for the quality u get. Arguably the best value Japanese sushi restaurant in Melbourne, a little gem of a find in Carlton. Katso Don, Miso Soup, Sushi Rolls and Sashimi, very fresh and delicious, a small family run place with lovely owners, who are really friendly and great with kids.
