2nd visit review:nSpicy pork ramen: Pork was soft and had the torched marks on it. Meat tasted like clean cooked pork. Tokotsu broth was watered down. Tasted chilli first with a good kick before the broth flavour. Half boiled egg was overcooked at the yoke.nNoodles is springy but a tad overcooked which broke too quickly. Im a bit disappointed as was expecting more.nnTofu agadashi mushroom rice: mushroom is super satisfying with the wok hei wok fire flavour. It hit the spot for me at first try. Tofu is super satisfying with a well seasoned batter and it was soft on the side. The entire dish was a fulfilling experience when mixed the salad and rice. I said wow..this is amazingnn1st visit review:nBeef sukiyaki: amazing flavour. Soft udon n the ginger helps improve the beef flavour. Beef portions is generous for the dish price. Beef is a bit tough. Needs tenderising. Egg was served cold. Would prefer to have it warm. 3 starnnChirashi rice bowl: tuna not fresh. Has a.dull.cooked colour. Tamago egg is soft. Dish on a.whole is cold and dry like it's taken straight out of the fridge. The fish roe, prawn , salmon  and avocado was fresh were enjoyable. Feels like it's premade and set in the fridge.   2 starnnAgedashi tofu: perfectly cooked. Crispy outside, soft inside n a lovely light sauce. Generous portion of 5 pieces for $6.  5 starnnPork ginger: soft and tender pork. Ginger balances the  saltines and fattiness of the pork. Sour salad balances this dish perfectly. 5 starnnSalmon Yukke: is where Poke bowl originated from.  The salmon was soft and well seasoned with sesame. Had the Chicken Katsu curry for lunch and it was awesome! The rice was fluffy, chicken crispy and juicy and the curry had the right kick of spice and flavor. The customer service was great and the place was clean and tidy. Definitely a good local Japanese restaurant for friends!
Ordered 2 platters for a birthday party. Great value and made fresh. Good variety in the mix platter. Even separated the gluten free on one side side.nnHighly recommend
