I received a plate of edamame with no bowl for the pods, I pressed the ‘call staff’ button after which I visibly saw the gent who works the floor roll his eyes and when I asked for a bowl I was informed, ‘No! you don’t need a bowl, you can just leave them on the table’. No yourself! Thank you sir, I prefer not to leave my food scraps on the table like an animal as I eat. I think this guy needs a holiday, or failing that an entirely new line of work. Food was average bordering on not great, even my three year old, who usually loves his sushi, was discerning enough not to eat his rolls and the table was sticky to boot.
Extremely rude / inconsiderate front staff. Owner cannot communicate politely, just yells in an obnoxious tone. Was here to collect an order, I simply politely asked where did I need to wait while the food was being prepared as I did not want to be around other customers having their meals. In response, I just got yelled at by the front staff to wait outside and not "loiter in their restaurant". Not coming back here ever again, much better food and customer service is available in Brisbane.
I had an unfortunate experience at "Sushi Station" restaurant due to the terrible attention I received from the staff. From the moment I arrived I felt like I was not welcome in the place. The staff seemed distracted and uninterested in serving me, and I had to wait a long time before being served. When I was finally served, the owner seemed disinterested in my order and did not give me any recommendations on the items on the menu. Then when I received my food the order was wrong and I had to wait even longer for the correct dish to be brought to me. Also, throughout the dinner, the staff were chatting loudly and laughing, making the atmosphere loud and uncomfortable. When I tried to get the attention of the staff to let them know my complaint, I was completely ignored. In short, my experience here was very disappointing due to the terrible care I received from the staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it is apparent that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. If you want to be treated like a dog, you are in the right place.
Extremely poor customer service. Specifically from the older male and female managers which includes frowning unhappy faces, short sharp bossy tones and voice when interacting with customers and delivery drivers. Venue is extremely small and crowded, poor ventilation unless sitting on the street sidewalk tables. Food is over priced for the potion sizes and lower quality compared to others in the area. Very slow to make the food.
Usually a 15-20min stay, food is quick, easy and fresh and if u can't see anything u like, u can order through the menu screen so u don't even need to talk to anyone if you are antisocial quiet atmosphere and is not stuffy at all. Stare out the door and people watch or glue yourself to your phone- u will be left alone Parking: I went at lunch time so plenty of street parking, wasn't a hassle at all. Evening and night is a little harder but give it 5 mins and your bound to find something.
The sushi is good and the service fast. I wish I could seat outside sometimes though.. Single use cutlery and cheap napkins unfortunately, something that could be improved. Definitely to try!
The owner of this place is RIDICULOUS, EXTREMELY RUDE, BAD EDUCATED. The Sushi Station franchise should urgently check this establishment out as it sure is tarnishing their brand! I don't give negative stars because there aren't any.
The ramen is so bad. Takoyaki is ok. Nigiri is so so, hand rolls are not good too. Service is terrible. Dishes were thrown on table rudely. Won’t come back for sure
Owner is Chinese and not very charismatic. I would recommend Sushi Mura from the same street, on Oxford st. They are so much better and have a dish called “lion king with salmon” which is delicious. Please go there instead that’s my advice…
There were hardly any plates on the train and the food that was in there had obviously been there for a long time because it was stale and dry looking. Their Karaage was bland and not much chicken in it and more batter. The service is absolutely atrocious and the owner only interacted to take payment. Will not be back for good. Period
