Thursday lunch , maybe busiest time? The staff are friendly however seems like not organized ,Very chaotic. A good place to go to for the price
As a former Sydneysider, where top quality sushi is available in most neighbourhood hubs, this Darby Street establishment is on point for providing a selection of dishes that pleases most palates. The salmon sashimi is fresh and accompanied by good wasabi. A really, really good option for when you are hungry and in need of this type of cuisine without having to make it a 'journey' even if you live outside of the LGA. Well managed and clean.
Amazing place to try sushi. Wehad ordered teriyaki chicken plate and tried prawn,chicken sushis...loved em. The flavours were balanced.. and the miso soup just helped counter the chilling weather .. will definitely come back
I ordered my sushi & a bottle of coke to go with it. My coke was delivered half drank. I am disgusted, especially with the global pandemic currently happening & believe you should take more caution to put food/ drinks in a sealed bag as clearly the Uber eats drivers are taking it upon themselves to indulge in the food I pay for.
Fresh food, decent pricing , love the iPad ordering system, food came so quick. We asked the worker for fresh wasabi which he organised, very lovely staff
Still my favourite place for lunch. Staff here are always helpful and on-the-ball. They make lots of nice fresh and interesting sushi. Very good job. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veg options Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome Wheelchair accessibility: There are two lower tables at the front of the restaurant and no stairs.
Honestly one of my favourite sushi trains. Super friendly staff & amazing quality food at any hour. The food is delicious without feeling like a pit and I've never enjoyed the rice so much like I have here : Parking: Limited parking along street, the nearby carpark will probably be your best bet
We went for dinner tonight, it was moderately busy, but the staff were friendly and reserved us a table when we enquired at the door. One of the chefs even gave the kids modified chopsticks to help them with their chopstick skills! The food was delicious, although the sushi was a bit smaller then other sushi trains I have been to. When we asked specifically for a dish, the waitress had it specifically made! I don’t know where all the people who gave bad reviews went, but it definitely wasn’t this restaurant! Five stars for the amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend for anyone especially families or small groups.
TL;DR great sushi I was going to give this place 3 stars, before I tried the food. There was an unnecessary wait to be seated, the bench hadn't been wiped in one position where I would have preferred to sit and a bland sushi that rice, tuna one, with sesame on the outside was stacked 4 high for about a metre on the train when I found a spot. But the actual Sushi, having been tempted by some tuna and salmon sashimi, was really good. Surprisingly good. All of the 6 or 7 plates I had were great. Light. Fresh. Tasty. Yum. 5 stars
This is mine, my son and daughter's go to for sushi in Newcastle. A 20 min drive each way, and the service and food is well worth it regardless of dining in or getting takeaway. Staff are pleasant and the food is satisfying. Have recommended to many.
