Relaxing and comfortable place to eat. Food came fast and the noodles and sushi were better than your average sushi restaurant. Good place to come to if you need to satisfy your sushi cravings. The staff is also friendly and polite. Overall it's quite an enjoyable experience.
Quick, efficient service with a handy ipad ordering system and a peaceful atmosphere make this a great place to have lunch in the middle of a hectic day. The sushi is not amazing but it is pretty good; everything I've had here has been fresh and appealing. The menu isn't extensive, but it does cover the usual range of sushi and hot dishes. A major plus for Sushi Kiyomee is that it is not as expensive as a lot of other sushi train-style places. You can eat well here for $20. I wouldn't choose it for a romantic date or other special occasion, but for lunch or a quick dinner with a friend it's a decent option.
Delicious sushi at a flat price of $3 per plate. Located conveniently near the exit from Toowong train station but beyond the café so it is easy to miss. Good deals on other dishes too.
I ordered special lunch curry chicken, I couldn’t forget this meal because it’s too bad. The rice is glutinous and hard what difficult to swallow, the chicken is tough dry and sour. The price was $7, but compared the food I don’t want to eat even if free.
This is my favourite sushi train place in Brisbane! All sushi dishes are $2!! Great when on a budget or a student. Staff are prompt and quietly friendly like most japanese. Its a little hard to locate, near the train station and Sizzlers, but well worth the effort. They also have Udon and salads, desserts! I've have been twice now and loved it both times.
Tasty sushi. I like that you can order what you want instead of having to rely on what’s on the train. Staff are friendly. The price of sushi seems to be different every time I visit. Regardless, the quality of the food is good.
Have been a couple times. Food is average. Some specials are cheap and sushi’s are 3 a plate. However there’s no service here. Nobody says hello to customers. Waitress are just playing their phones or chatting each other. They serve food fast tho. It’s not very clean on the floor and things they stored are in a mess in the corner. Will still come here actually since I just live nearby but tbh won’t be a patron.
Review edit. For $2.50 a plate, you really can't go wrong. Even all the hot food plates are $2.5 which is a steal. My favourites would definitely be the unagi, the pork dumplings and the takoyaki which can be ordered from the tabletop tablet. Spicy tuna is really nice too : they've even got hot meal deals for $7 during their happy hours 3-6pm Would recommend
Great sushi we don't have a problem with price. Wide variety to choose from and kids love using iPad to order off the menu rather than the train. Pretty busy in the evening but easy to grab a seat during the day.
Used to be a good place but food quality has gone south fast. Now they only use a 1cm slice of avo and tiny bits of chicken. You get what you pay for I guess as it's really cheap all plates $2.50. Now I'd rather pay an extra $1 per plate and actually get a quality serve of food.
