One of the best restaurants in my opinion in the area serving great food. Very friendly staff. Ordered takeout which was absolutely delicious, will be trying out something different next time from their menu.
The teriyaki chicken don is very tasty. The grilled pork don is my favourite from here. The pork gyozas are good, though the dipping sauce has a lot of vinegar. The crispy chicken curry was good. Prices are expensive for takeaway. Adequate service. Response to owner: Photos may be a few years old, but they are of yama yama takeaway food.
Small neighborhood-style japanese restaurant. Quick and friendly service. Although not authentic Japanese taste they are still okay. The beef in the Ten Don is a little tough. The tempura in the bento is also pretty average Food - 5 Service - 8 Vibe - 6 Price - $$$

Delicious! Fish was fresh and beautiful quality. I wanted to order more salmon and also get dessert but ended up being way too full. Looking forward to going back. Little pricy but well worth it for high quality food. I recommend the Plum Sake if you’re into sweet alcoholic drinks

Food is flavourful Very Not Salty, FYI To be Izakaya Informal Japanese Pub I wouldn't categories Yama Yama as one... What was expected, unexpected. Izakaya Skewers on Charcoal Chicken skin, chicken butt, ox tongue .... Just saying But please try their Chef Special Inside Our roll and other Nigiri / Share Platter . Their wasabi is really good, it compliment the Nigiri & Sashimi . Sweet potatoes chip with aioli sauce, is also really nice; it appears not cut by machines, very even size and fried to the right crispiness and not dried inside at all. Udon, Sweet potato chip, wasabi. TRY IT~~ haha yummo
