This place has a 2 story sushi train but also the ability to order from an iPad at the end of the table. The ordered meals magically appear on the upper level of the train and are reasonably prompt depending on what you order. My Spicy salmon large roll took longer than most of the items we ordered but was well with the wait as the delicious smokiness of the flame-kissed salmon was divine. The unagi aburi eel was another highlight although let down slightly because the rice was completely cold. We kept ordering until we didn’t need any more and ended up spending around $25 per person so reasonably priced for what we got.

Good food, quick service.nDefinitely a good replacement with upgrades from Sushi Train. Well done guys, congratulations. Got this address added to our list of local choices for eating out. Be back soon for sure.

Impressed with generous portion sizes!nI usually go to sushi train as it's the closest to my place and it's my first time at Sushi Edo in forever but I'm very impressed with their generous portion sizes, especially compared to sushi train. The salmon avocado roll I had had huge pieces of salmon and the roll wasn't even closed that's a compliment! nSorry, too hungry to take pictures. Will definitely go back!

My sister shouted me lunch here for my birthday. Sushi Edo is a chain. First time  at this location, but I've been to the CBD & Newmarket locations before. I was impressed by the layout. There were lots of booths available, and we were allocated one for our group of 3. There was also what I am describing as 'half booths' available for single diners or those in pairs. Great space saving idea. You can grab the dishes you like as they come past you, and you can also order items from the menu using the screen in the booth. The items we ordered off the menu arrived via conveyor belt at our booth. They use fresh and high-quality ingredients here. I rated the quality and freshness of the dishes that came out, including the sashimi. My sister tried the dumplings and said it was it udercooked. We told them about it & they apologised and didn't charge us for this dish. Was otherwise happy with the rest of this dining experience. It was quite busy. Reasonable wait times considering. You can also help yourself to hot and cold filtered water. I even scored a freebie on the way out. Happy 10-year anniversary, Sushi Edo!

Not happy, had to wait over forty minutes, got home and they’ve given me the wrong sushi. The sushi was dry and chewy and we ended up having to throw it away anyway. It did not taste fresh.nnIt’s usually great here so I am really disappointed.
