Really enjoyed the meal! We all ordered superior burgers with coke and we also had some wings! The chips were really good and yummy and so were the burgers they were nice and not too crazy with fresh ingredients :- One of the burgers was burnt but they were happy to fix it and it was changed promptly and was great. Also really enjoyed the company and had a great time! Very nice, and I would recommend, although it is a little expensive
Burger diner that had a weird ‘neon’ vibe to it. You have to order at the counter and pick the food up from the counter. The drink selection is plentiful with lots of cocktails, beers and shakes housemade ice tea my favourite!. The burgers were just OK. Cheeseburger was dry and chicken burger was full of oil. The chicken tenders were dry and bland. Chips are really good, the poutine a nice share meal. Overall on the pricy side, nothing too special.
A must-have, is their Fried Chicken burger . It is Crunchy, Juicy and Flavourful the three flavour profiles you want. This has always been consistent. ⁣ From time to time they change their milkshakes and specials. Quite loving some of the concoctions they came up with because it ACTUALLY tastes like its name, so I can recommend them as well.
Reaaally good burger,chicken wings and fresh chips! Beer taps werent working the day we went, otherwise would've been even more awesome! Abit of a retro old school take away tuck shop mixture, unexpected combo...but enjoyed :
Local gem, love what these guys are doing in terms of knowing the source and making their own aged beef patties. Beef burger is an absolute killer!!! Fried chicken also very tasty. Got the special nacho fries, which was not bad but could have done without. Potato scallop needed a lot more chicken powder seasoning, but very crispy. Also tried the baklava cheery ripe shake $8 is a bit steep and couldn't taste the baklava as the chocolate flavour was too strong.
The burgers tasted amazing! I got the Superior Burger, while my friend got their mushroom burger. The sauce was fantastic and meat nicely cooked. My friend said the mushroom tasted good too. We both liked the loaded fries as well. Although it’s not as special as Chubby Bun’s, it was a nice complement to our burgers for when ordinary fries feel a bit too basic...or we’re feeling a little hungrier than usual. I loved the interior decor. Superior Burgers has a nice vibe to it. It’s a local joint that would easily blend into Newtown’s streetscape. Would go again
**See update below** Friendly staff and great service but the burgers were disappointing. Had the special Get Him To The Greek. Patty was dry and lacking flavour. The fries were great but the star of the show, the burger was a major let down. Edit time! What a huge improvement. Had the DIY Beef combo and The Bird combo. Service remains top notch but now the burgers have improved immensely and also top notch! I'd say best burgers in the area and top 5 chicken burgers and wings going in Sydney. Well done, look forward to coming again and again!
Quality ingredients are certainly used when making burgers at superior burgers. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Definitely try the hot and sticky wings, they are a must :-
The name of the business is truth in advertising. They guys make a delicious burger, and know they don't have to overcook it because they use the best meat. The loaded fries are a must have...in my hubbys words 'holy jesus these fries are good!'. Good cocktails, nice laid back atmosphere, clean and funky.
Cheeseburger was very good but not great. My wife’s burger was a little over done. Kids add their burgers. Kids meal includes a generous serve of chips. Matcha white chocolate thick shake? Matcha flavour is certainly there but in terms of overall taste for $8, it is not. Presentation of burgers and interior was neat and pleasant.
