I don’t normally write bad reviews but I feel like this experience warrants a boot up the arse. My wife went in last night to get a new battery and was given attitude by a young bloke. When she returned home with the new battery, turns out he had given her the wrong battery. I returned this morning to replace it and they checked their system to see if the system was at fault, but the system had the right battery, it was just that he had given us the wrong model. There was no acknowledgement of a mistake or any apologies. I was given the correct battery thankfully. However, I then asked if they had a couple of spanners to change the battery over because the one I had was flat hence why I was getting a new battery. The staff looked at me blankly and told me they didn’t have anything that they were allowed to hand out. Luckily I was able to get the car going and returned home to replace it at home otherwise I would have had to resort to pleading from the staff for a couple of spanners. I know that it might be their policy to not hand out tools and I probably should’ve brought my own, but given the mistakes they had already made with the wrong battery given to us, and just the shear humanity of helping a fellow human out, I feel like this was a pretty poor experience and poor attitude to have. Two stars. Do Better.
