Poor customer service. Was travelling through from down south when a check engine light come on, I called ahead to see if they could do a diagnostic scan, they said they wouldn’t do one because it was raining, to be fair we had had a lot of rain that day but it wasn’t actually raining at the time or few a few hours after my call. I asked if I could come in the next day, got there at opening and had to wait an additional 15 minutes until there were extra staff on. They then served someone first that got there after us, we waiting only to be told they hadn’t charged the device they needed and said we would have to wait another half hour… pretty slack all round ..
I was extremely disappointed with my interaction with Super cheap staff member Makayla today. We attempted to make a return for a SCA product and the staff all refused to take the item back as a return. We called the online store on the way home and discovered the refund was possible. On returning to the store Makayla was not only rude but continued to say “we got lucky” and that the product can’t be resold or reused, it will be “destroyed, due to our mistake”, which I know is not only a lie but misinformation. It’s disappointing to see the level of customer service we received today. I won’t be returning to Supercheap due to this encounter. I hope that no other customers have to deal with this level or should I say lack of customer service.
I was given the wrong car battery twice. The computer program they use linked a battery to my car rego that was far too big. I realised when I got home and tried to install it. I went back and was given a smaller replacement battery. I was going to replace it in the parking lot before leaving, but it was raining and the car miraculously started again, so I drove home to install it. While the new battery looked to be a similar size to the original, the top was just a little too wide for the bracket. I gave up and went to Autobarn and got the right battery. I went to SuperCheap three times buy, return/buy, return and I was very unimpressed with the service and help I was given. I won’t be going back.
