Holy heck! I don't know what they've changed but the chips here are amazing!!! The chicken is also excellent; but it's always been excellent. The chippies were a bit so so but have now improved immensely.
I have been a fan of super rooster since a little tacker and today I have enjoyed the best chicken and chips in my lifetime… the chips were golden, perfectly salty and crispy, the pasito was chilled to perfection and the chicken was succulent and tasty. This truly was a super rooster.
Great food. Chicken always tastes delicious same as the chips. My only issue is they seem to deliver me half chicken and chips with barely no chips om some orders. Some have a lot of chips while some barely no chips. Besides that great food. I just wish they'd come to DoorDash in the future... Don't like ordering their food through Menulog.
Super Rooster Union Square Got the quarter chicken and chips and it came with a mountain of chips, had to eat through a heap to reveal the chicken underneath. The chicken is cooked perfectly, tender succulent and delicious. Love the skin with the seasoning adding that extra bit of flavour. The chips are crunchy, fluffy on the inside and well cooked but needed more seasoning but still tasty. I can't say I got much flavour from the coals that the chicken sits above on the rotisserie but this is a meal that hits the spot. I tried Veg + chicken fried rice, which was yumm. They are open till 10pm, quick grab if you are not planning to drive long for thai food.
Basic good food and good value. Roast chicken on coals and nice chicken schnitzel burgers. A reliable meal.

Everything was great except I ordered three chicken and chips and only got two. Menulog refunded me for the food but not the delivery and service fees and I didn’t have $8 in my account for another delivery. Be very careful using Menulog but otherwise this place is great.
Best charcoal chicken and chips ever! Get extra salt and don’t let the chips sweat and it’s amazing.
I was in a hurry and popped in for chicken and chips, the chips where lovely lightly seasoned beautifuly, and the chicken was great! Nice clean shop, friendly and attentive to my order. Good customer service and great people. Thank you, I really enjoyed my lunch.
