Went to this store Thursday 14/2/2026. Had just stepped in the door when approached by a female who told me I could not enter the store with backpack on. I’m in my 60s, often approached by people for directions even when I’m in an unfamiliar area as I have an “honest face” yes, I am honest. I guess I get it, but her attitude was confronting, then she just disappeared – no indication of offering to help me find what I was looking for. I found what I wanted and went to the counter. The fellow behind the counter wasn’t antagonistic but wasn’t friendly either. Overall, I wish I had gone to one of the other 2 Super Liquors in Invercargill area or another chain altogether. I won’t be going back to this store, for sure.
