Dear IGA Cremorne Management,nnI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my visit to your store today 16 September, 2024. After purchasing some vegetables, cleaning powder, and other items, I was extremely disappointed to find that the cleaning powder had spilled all over my groceries especially the veggies when I arrived home. The young girl at the check out - she put everything in one bag.nnThis not only ruined the products I purchased but also caused an inconvenience as I had to make a second trip back to the store.nnWhen I called to report the issue, the person who answered, Kundini as listed on my shopping docket, did not offer an apology and instead seemed to find the situation amusing when I later spoke to her in person at the store. This unprofessional behavior added to my frustration.nnUpon returning to the store, I requested to speak with the manager, Chris. Rather than listening to my concerns, Chris interrupted me, provided replacement items, and I thank him, he just ignored me didn't say anything. The entire interaction lacked basic courtesy and respect.nnAs a regular customer, I expect better service. It is disappointing that this situation was handled so poorly, especially when the issue was caused by improper product handling by your staff. Respect and professionalism are essential in customer service, and I felt neither was offered in this case.nnDue to this unpleasant experience, I am reconsidering my choice to shop at IGA in the future. I hope you will address this with your staff to ensure that other customers do not face similar treatment.
I would avoid any fresh produce from here. Either there’s not enough turnover or the fridges do not meet the required temperature On two separately occasions I have had to return fresh product. Meat was air sealed, however opening opening there was a foul smell and colour. Cheese was mouldy.nnThe positive is the staff were quick to offer a refund.
With the IGA being refurbished, I hope that it will expand its selection to include a broader range of locally sourced and healthier food options.
Store manager, Manushi, was very rude. Unpleasant expression and not apologetic about selling us 3 weeks out of date items, and failed to process our refund efficiently.
