Sunshine Coast Brewery

About

Using our little corner of Queensland to hand craft traditional beer styles from around the globe & create new craft beer favourites

Story

Our Kunda Park brewery operation is situated only 10 minutes drive from Mooloolaba and Maroochydore beach and easily accessible from the Bruce Highway.

We are one of Queensland’s first microbrewery’s and believe we produce some of, if not the best craft beer on the coast. Our biggest recognition came in 2009 at the AIBA when we were awarded a swag of gold, silver and bronze medals competing against over 130 breweries worldwide. The beers have continued to receive awards since then.
We consistently have about 8-10 different beers available at all time and our brewer Matt Vanderveen loves too brew special small batches so be ready to taste!!

Our Kitchen in open for lunch Wednesday to Saturday 12-2pm and we offer dine in or takeaway options. Lunch options start at $9.90 for a burger and chips and won’t jump over the $20 mark.

We have a two level bar setup at the brewery featuring 14 taps with upstairs an ideal setting for functions & private events. We can cater from 20 – 120 plus people over both the levels and we can offer both sit down or stand up options.

Cellar door sales are available at the brewery Monday to Thursday 11– 3pm as well as Friday and Saturday 12-5pm.

Keg hire of your favorite Sunshine Coast Beers can be arranged by phoning the brewery on 5476 6666. We can also offer the dispensing equipment, delivery, set up and have everything removed for you if it’s required. Remember to give us a bit of notice for keg hires please.

The hours of operation fluctuate a little so it is best to give Greg or Brigid a call and let them know your coming, they will make sure our beer taps are ready for action!

Micro Brew with Craft Beers on TAP. Super friendly staff. Tasting paddle available to sample. Selection of souvenir merch. Watch out for event evenings with live music and food truck nights. Kitchen was looking for staff so just snacks and toasties available on our visit. Great experience
Peter from Sunshine Coast Breweries went above and beyond to help me set up a home kegerator. With little knowledge on what's required for a home system he both helped and educated me and the ultimate result I picked up a keg of their Summer Ale the following day and it did not disappoint!nIt was bloody beautiful and poured like a dream.nThank you very much! I look forward to trying some of the other flavors down the track!nAlso loved the look of the bar and beer garden there.
Our first visit and it won't be our last. Greg the owner since 2006 was very friendly and genuinely interested in what types of beers etc., we liked and made suggested tastings which didn't disappoint. My husband loved the chilli beer and was even offered a taste of Greg's small brew of smoked beer, which apparently was a real treat. A group of visiting golfers had just left when we arrived and as it was late Friday, tradies enjoyed beers in the front beer courtyard. Location is in a light industrial area. Plenty of indoor outdoor seating; easy parking and the atmosphere, authentic. We were given a map of all the breweries on the Sunshine Coast 22 in total. Thanks Greg for your 'real' hospitality. Well worth a visit. nI was DD; ginger beer was delicious.
They have a good range of different types of beer to try. There is a couple of dark beers I particularly enjoyed. A nice courtyard to sit in while drinking. We got some food from the food cart there. That was great too.
Dog friendly. Beer garden is relaxing. Beers are excellent- really enjoyed the tasting board. Best chicken Parmy I’ve had in years!!
