Sunny’s Shop is a well known restaurant in Prospect and with good reason. The menu is extensive with many Asian influenced dishes though not authentic- better find another restaurant if you want authentic cuisine. Notable dishes included the ceviche- the kingfish was fresh and the sauce had a nice tang, cheeseburger spring rolls- unique and did have a good burger sauce inside, quite filling for a starter. The Peking duck pancakes were flavourful and the vegetables were not soft, still had a good crunch. The let down was definitely the garlic butter prawns. It was disappointing, with no presence of garlic whatsoever. The prawns were tasteless and just tasted like it was slathered in melted butter, would not get again. Despite this, other dishes came through, hence the high ranking as it could always have been an off day for the chef! The restaurant is loud due to how many people are seated each time, so if you are looking for a quiet ambient environment, do not go here. Service was lovely. Overall have been a few times and will continue to go back.
Sunny Shop is a lovely place for a relaxed lunch or a chill afternoon with tea or a glass of wine. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, perfect for sitting back and taking your time. Even though the location is convenient, it doesn’t feel crowded, which makes it even more enjoyable.nThere’s a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the salt and pepper squid It’s perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. It pairs really well with both tea and wine.nOverall, Sunny Shop is a great spot to unwind, enjoy good food, and escape the busy crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a cozy place with tasty dishes and a nice vibe
I got a table outside, it was nice. We waited 30 mins to get the first 2 entree’ then we continued to wait, end up with more than 1 hour wait we got our food.nFood is okay.nWhile enjoying the meal, we have an “uninvited guest “ a Crockroach on the table. We asked to move table but seem like they not really happy about it. why i say so, because our table have a table cloth, i did suggest i just need a round table for two that would be fine, but they let us sit the next table which was cleaned up on the spot for us and no table cloth . I don’t know what do you guys want us to think about this??nWe paid full for the wonderful experience.nSecond and last visit.
This is the best Thai and Vietnamese restaurant I have ever tried . Ambience is so beautiful and cozynRestaurants will be crowded everyday so it’s better to book the table in prior , becos of the crowd food serving took long time .nFood is delicious dumplings and pork roast is the must try .nOver all it’s a good place to indulge Thai n Vietnamese food
Absolutely an amazing place to be!! The food and service were both fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for a lovely night out with the family.nnMy family and I have been here years ago and have come back whilst on holiday, and the whole experience is still amazing. Thank you to the lovely waiter that made our whole experience that much better. Highly recommend!!
