Story

Sunnybank Theatre Group (inc) is one of Brisbane's most affordable non-professional theatre companies. Since 1965, we have presented a variety of dramas, thrillers, comedies, pantomimes, and musicals.

Our members, performers, stage crew, front of house & box office staff, and the committee are all enthusiastic volunteers who are driven by their passion for community theatre. We welcome anyone who would also like to contribute to the life of our theatre.

Our fully licensed bar offers a range of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks as well as tea and coffee. The bar remains open after shows for patrons to enjoy a drink with the cast and crew. The theatre is also fully air-conditioned.

We are located at 14 Mains Rd Sunnybank, Brisbane, on the north-west corner of Mains and Beenleigh Roads.

Never unhappy with the shows. Good green room and wonderful that they put the chairlift in for those who can't do stairs.

Excellent theatre that accommodates large & small groups and the public. Very professional and has bar/tea/coffee. Chairlift for those who can't take the stairs. Booking a must.

Its the second time I have been to see a show here , last night it was The 39 Steps , which was brilliant , the cast was very good and funny and the director was quite inspired and innovative in his approach to the Hitchcock classic , if you have not seen live theater before get along to this one while its still playing , well done to all involved , Rob
