Had a double hernia operation and stayed overnight. Surprised to read the occasional bad review but my experience was very good. Dr Chua was great, anaesthetist friendly. Reception staff professional. Nurses, some friendly and professional and some just professional but that's OK I prefer a good job done rather than making a friend. Great food, clean modern room. Sometimes nurses took 10 mins to answer my push button request but I understand that they have other patients to attend to. Overall a very good experience.
I was a surgery patient there for 2nights one in the ICU and one in the ward.nnThe staff were fabulous, attentive, friendly, supportive and kind.nnThe ward room that I was in was as nice as hotel accommodation.nIt was quiet and also had a little courtyard that I could stretch my legs in and sit in the sunshine.nnThe surgery and aftercare was amazing. It made the whole process so much easier.
I had jaw surgery at this hospital and spent 1 night in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurses in ICU really let this hospital down. I needed to have ice packs kept on my face after the surgery; the nurses seemed to have a problem with getting a new ice pack for me when the one on my face went warm. At one point, a nurse just dumped the ice pack down on my lap and walked off for me to put on myself, which caused my arterial cannula to leak blood on me. I was then told off by the same nurse for moving around too much. The food given post surgery was totally disappointing and showed a poor understanding of the importance of nutrition after a major surgery. I discharged as soon as the surgeon suggested I could leave the hospital. Anyone having surgery should consider one of the better private hospitals elsewhere.
I visited the MRI reception around 4:30 p.m. on October 14, 2025.nThe male staff member sitting in the middle of the reception was very kind and helpful, and I truly appreciated his professionalism.nHowever, the Asian female staff member sitting on the left side was extremely unkind. Her facial expression was dark and stiff, her tone of voice was overly formal, and she appeared to show clear signs of displeasure.nI believe her attitude and manner of dealing with customers were inappropriate and made me feel quite uncomfortable.nnI hope the hospital can take this feedback into consideration and ensure that all staff members provide a more friendly and welcoming service to patients in the future.nnThank you for your attention.
As a first time private hospital patient, the care I received was terrible. I felt isolated and rarely checked on. Nurses would do obs in the morning and you wouldn't see them again till the afternoon. I saw the kitchen staff more than nurses. My personal medication schedule was changed as was one of the medications I was taking without my consent therefore throwing my body out. My personal med were also missed once at night. I was offered one sponge bath over the 4 days I was there which consisted of me sitting on a cold shower chair while the nurse ran a hand towel under the tap and wiped me over. I came home with blisters on my heels from the compression stockings and my anaesthetist absolutely horrible. Did not listen to me at all. I came home black and blue with bruises. My surgeon was amazing though and very understanding. I had one beautiful experience which was with my discharge nurse. She was beautiful and picked up the issue with my stockings straight away considering my ID band was on my ankle. Thank you Nicole. Your bedside manner was beautiful. Food was good however I would not reccomend this hospital. I had 100% better treatment through the public hospital.
